Eurasian watermilfoil has created severe impact on neighboring lakes such as Nancy, Minong Flowage, and now Gilmore. Hundreds of thousands of dollars are spent by lake residents to attempt to control this invasive species. Please clean all weeds off of your boat and trailer before launching into the lake. If you visit lakes with Zebra mussels, please power wash your boat and trailer and let them dry for 4 days before launching. Wash your bilge with a bleach solution and drain all water from your boat once you pull out of a lake.
