Gala on February 26

The First Annual Winter Gala is coming together and our goal is to celebrate, reconnect, and meet new friends; while supporting our association.  More details will arrive via email to MLA members the week before the Gala!  Accuweather's forecast is 28 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny (let's hope the meteorologists have predicted accurately  )

The day will include:

• Ice Fishing Contest ($10 entry fee. 1/2 of proceeds go to the winner, 1/2 of proceeds go to MLA to support our lake) Three fishing holes per participant.
• Medallion Hunt ($5 entry fee. 1/2 of proceeds go to the winner, 1/2 of proceeds go to MLA to support our lake)
• Frisbee Golf (no entry fee)
• Snowshoeing (no entry fee) - bring your own snowshoes
• Ice Golf (no entry fee) - bring your own clubs
• Skating (no entry fee) - bring your own skates
• Boot Hockey (no entry fee) - bring your own boots.  Hockey sticks if you have them.

Some members have asked about having a shelter to gather with a "potluck" or a place to play games; however, we do not have a location. If anyone has a garage, shed, large tent, or another shelter for people to gather please let us know if this is possible for Feb 26.
